This study systematically reviewed existing literature on the quality and satisfaction of medical services perceived by foreign patients visiting Korean medical institutions, aiming to provide policy implications and directions for future research. The analysis revealed that physician expertise and the level of medical treatment had the greatest impact on satisfaction, with Chinese patients utilizing medical institutions in the metropolitan area being the primary research subjects. Future research should focus on developing satisfaction measurement tools reflecting the characteristics of foreign patients and considering various sociodemographic factors.
