Summary

This study suggests a design process for a vibrotactile interface that applies haptic perception factors reflecting human tactile mechanisms. The proposed process consists of four stages: requirement analysis, element analysis, perception factor analysis, detailed design, and prototype implementation, excluding unnecessary tasks in deriving and implementing user requirements and reflecting ergonomic features in the design. Furthermore, it completes the haptic requirements specification along with prototype development, enabling user-centered design even for developers lacking expertise in haptics.
