Summary
This study investigates the teacher-child interaction perceived by early childhood teachers using the IPA technique, analyzing the gap between perception and practice to suggest directions for improving the quality of interaction. A survey of 455 teachers of 3-5 year-old children in kindergartens in Busan revealed that some interaction scale items require continuous maintenance, intensive improvement, gradual improvement, or are over-oriented.
