Summary

This study compared the home meal replacement (HMR) consumption behaviors and development needs of college students in Korea and China, and Chinese students studying in Korea. The main results showed that all groups purchased HMR for saving time and preventing meal skipping, and hygiene, freshness, taste, and price were important selection attributes. Specifically, Chinese students studying abroad prioritized hygiene and freshness, Chinese students prioritized meat side dishes and price, and Korean students prioritized snacks and taste.
