Summary

This study argues that moral education should provide experiences of establishing relationships with ‘concrete others’ based on the concept of ‘concrete other’ grounded in the caring ethics. To this end, it examines the current status of the moral education curriculum and the significance of education using ‘whole work’, revealing that moral education utilizing ‘whole work’ contributes to understanding concrete others. It also suggests the need for further research in this area.
