Summary

This study analyzed how problem posing tasks were distributed in 5th and 6th grade mathematics textbooks according to the revised curriculum. The results showed a slight increase in the proportion of problem posing tasks, but similar proportions across content areas, with some areas (measurement, data and probability) lacking such tasks. Notably, real-life context-based problem posing tasks were very limited.
