Summary

This study investigated the perceptions and experiences of special school teachers regarding school safety education for secondary students with developmental disabilities through in-depth interviews. The analysis revealed three main themes: the current status of safety education, difficulties related to safety education, and support needs for effective implementation. These findings provide valuable insights for developing and implementing effective school safety education programs.
