Summary

This study analyzes the content elements and cognitive levels of science questions in the high school graduate equivalency test to explore improvement strategies. The analysis revealed a high proportion of questions from the ‘solar system and earth’ and ‘evolution of life’ units, while the ‘origin and evolution of the universe’ unit had a lower proportion, and the application level questions were less frequent compared to knowledge and understanding levels.
