Summary

This study explores an alternative for the renewal of the PROK’s spirituality following the COVID-19 pandemic, analyzing the spirituality of three Korean pastors – Sunju Gil, Youngdo Lee, and Jaejun Kim – who greatly influenced early Korean Protestants. The study argues that adopting the method of internalizing God’s word practiced by the Desert Fathers can help the PROK pursue the unity of liberation and piety after COVID-19.
