Summary

This study focused on student agency as an important competency in preparing for a rapidly changing future society and explored the role of teachers. The results showed that student agency is a value-oriented decision-making competency, and teachers are key entities supporting students' growth and learning. The teacher's roles were defined as building trust, facilitating learning, providing objective feedback, supporting emotional competency, and assisting in social contribution.
