Summary

This study identified four latent stress profiles among mothers in multicultural families – low stress, high stress, high acculturative-low daily life stress, and low acculturative-high daily life stress – using latent profile analysis, and examined the factors influencing these profiles and differences in child characteristics. Significant differences were found in children’s acculturative stress, self-esteem, life satisfaction, and peer/teacher relationships based on their mothers’ stress profiles.
