This study analyzes the linguistic features and structures before and after the Taiwanese native literature debate in the 1970s to explore the process of Taiwan literature’s pursuit of identity. It traces the trajectory of Taiwan literature moving towards postcolonialism and postmodernity under Japanese colonial rule and Kuomintang dictatorship, aiming to broaden understanding of Taiwan within Korean academia.
