Summary
This study aimed to identify the factors affecting suicidal ideation among older adults in the community. The results showed that activities of daily living, loneliness, self-esteem, depression, and marital status significantly influenced suicidal ideation. Based on these findings, implementing psychological programs and focusing on improving physical health and reducing loneliness and depression, especially for older adults without a spouse, are necessary to reduce suicidal ideation.
