Summary

This study aimed to conceptualize play-based professionalism and develop a self-evaluation scale for teachers, responding to the increasing interest in early childhood teachers’ play expertise following the implementation of the 「2019 Revised Nuri Curriculum」. A scale model was established through theoretical review, expert interviews, and Delphi surveys, and its reliability and validity were verified using empirical data, resulting in a scale consisting of 3 factors, 11 sub-factors, and 53 items.
