Summary
This study aimed to develop and validate the Early Childhood Flourish Scale to measure flourishing in 5-year-old children. Through literature review and focus group interviews, a preliminary 36-item scale was developed, and exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses were conducted on data from 454 children, resulting in a 25-item scale with six factors: positive emotion, engagement, relationship, meaning, accomplishment, and strength.
