Summary

This study analyzes the interconnectedness of energy-related content in the elementary science curriculum and seeks improvement strategies by comparing the Korean and Singaporean curricula and textbooks. The analysis revealed that the Korean curriculum includes a variety of energy-related content, but lacks clear presentation of the definition and role of energy, and there are omissions and leaps in the explanation of energy transfer and transformation processes.
