This paper examines the status and role of cultural contents in classical novel education. Classical novels and cultural contents have a mutually beneficial relationship, and cultural contents can expand classical novel education and contribute to the development of cultural literacy. The drama “Rebel” and the movie “Jeon Woo Chi” are examples of cultural contents with high potential for use in classical novel education.
