This study discusses literature reading education from the perspective of speech act theory, viewing it as a conversation between the reader and the author, emphasizing the importance of mutual communication and collaboration in interpreting and evaluating literary works. The study argues that a literary work is completed through the reader's understanding of the author's intentions and inference of implicit meanings, with the author actively encouraging reader participation. Therefore, literature education should focus on mutual communication rather than monologue analysis of works.
