Summary

This study analyzed the sociocultural behavior system of pre-service elementary school teachers’ photosynthesis experiment using the CHAT method. Analysis of inquiry diaries from two groups—one with the highest and one with the lowest peer evaluation scores—revealed that the higher-scoring group collaboratively conducted the experiment and reached scientific conclusions, while the lower-scoring group experienced conflict and struggled to draw valid conclusions.
