Summary

This study analyzed inquiry-related units in the elementary school science textbooks of the 2015 Revised National Curriculum based on learning objectives, themes, inquiry activities, assessment methods, and auxiliary visual materials. The results indicated that learning objectives were presented based on achievement standards as grade levels increased, and various learning materials and self/peer evaluation methods were utilized. Furthermore, auxiliary visual materials were more frequently used in lower grades, and the study suggested effective application and future textbook improvement directions.
