This study analyzed the influence of neighborhood environment on elderly depression and verified the differences between the young-old and the old-old. The results showed that social support directly affects elderly depression, and the physical environment influences depression through physical activity and the social environment. Furthermore, the influence of the neighborhood environment differed between the young-old and the old-old groups.
