This study proposes a more effective teaching and learning method for the ‘Unforgettable Foods’ unit in a writing textbook at Kyung Hee University, and presents a learner-centered model for food narrative-based writing. It aims to enhance empathy, media literacy, and reflective writing skills through self-directed experiential learning where students select and analyze media in a multi-media environment.
