This study aims to design a learner-centered French conversation class model based on flipped learning and constructivist learning theory. The class consists of pre-class video lectures, in-class activities, and multi-faceted evaluations, aiming to enhance learner participation and academic achievement through the use of information and communication technology, self-directed learning, and collaborative learning. However, increased learning burden and management of passive learners are identified as challenges.
