Summary

This study developed and validated a happiness instructional design model based on positive psychology for students with intellectual disabilities. The developed model consists of 5 components, 11 design principles, and 26 detailed guidelines, and on-site application evaluation showed that it contributed to improving students' happiness and life satisfaction.
