Summary

This study evaluated the contamination levels of harmful bacteria, heavy metals, and pesticide residues in 23 types of commercial dried flower teas. Some flower teas were found to contain general bacteria, Staphylococcus aureus, and Salmonella sp., while low levels of lead were detected in Hemerocallis fulva, and high levels of chlorpyrifos were detected in Chrysanthemum morifolium. Based on these results, the study suggests the need for regulations and management to ensure the safety of dried flower teas.
