Summary

This study aims to design a virtual reality-based parent-teacher conference simulation for improving the conference skills of in-service and pre-service teachers and analyze its effects. Analysis of attention and emotional changes during the simulation revealed no significant difference in attention between the two groups, but both experienced negative emotions during the conference, with significant interaction effects across stages. Based on these findings, the study suggests guidelines for parent-teacher conference simulation training.
