Summary
This study examines the activation plan for the police workers’ council, which was launched after the amendment of the 「Enforcement Decree of the Public Officials Workers’ Council Act」. With the easing of restrictions on solidarity, nationwide solidarity is now possible, which is expected to contribute to improving the quality of life of police officers through improvements in working conditions, rights and interests, and organizational culture. The study provides implications for the stable establishment and continuous development of the workers’ council.
