Summary

This study explored the experiences and meanings of middle and high school special education teachers regarding the operation of the inclusive class adaptation period, revealing that the operation is flexibly carried out according to student characteristics, school size, and teacher know-how. The teachers also emphasized the importance of understanding student characteristics, cooperation among teachers, and understanding the school environment, and the need for flexible thinking and the utilization of support personnel for effective operation.
