Summary

This study examined the spelling characteristics of elementary, middle, and high school students and analyzed spelling test results across grade levels. The results showed a significant increase in spelling scores with higher grade levels, and development was observed in both regular words and phonologically changing words. Additionally, spelling accuracy tended to decrease when the same sound was represented by multiple vowels or when distinguishing between roots and affixes was required.
