Summary

This study confirmed that case-based flipped learning is effective in improving nursing process competency, critical thinking disposition, self-directed learning ability, and self-efficacy of nursing students. The results showed significant improvements in these competencies after the application of flipped learning, and positive correlations were found among them. This suggests the need for applying various teaching and learning methods in nursing education.
