Summary

This study evaluated the possibility of silk natural dyeing using extracts from mulberry, kudzu, and artemisia leaves, analyzing dyeability and functionality under various dyeing temperatures and pH conditions. Mulberry leaf dyeing showed the highest K/S value at pH 4, and the highest K/S value was obtained at 80℃ after mordanting. Excellent colorfastness (grade 4 or higher) to hand-washing, sweat, and water was observed, along with deodorization properties, suggesting potential contributions to the natural dyeing industry.
