Summary
This study examined the relationship between social support and self-reliance among unmarried mothers of infants, focusing on the multiple mediating role of parental efficacy. Social support positively influenced self-reliance through enhanced parental efficacy, while parenting stress did not mediate the relationship. The findings suggest the importance of strengthening social support and enhancing parental efficacy to promote self-reliance among unmarried mothers.
