Summary

This study aims to identify gender differences in variables affecting high school students’ attitudes toward mathematics and mathematical achievement during the COVID-19 pandemic, and to suggest ways to improve female students’ attitudes. The analysis revealed that parent-child relationships significantly influence female students’ attitudes, while teacher satisfaction impacts male students’ attitudes, and gender differences were also observed in the mediating effect of attitudes on grades.
