Summary
This study aimed to grasp the current status of field practice in the Department of Library and Information Science and to propose a development plan based on a survey. The results showed that field practice positively affects students' employment competitiveness and career decisions. Furthermore, the study suggests the need to discover and utilize various practice institutions, and to develop practice evaluation and manuals to maintain the level of on-the-job training.
