Summary

This study aims to identify the difficulties elementary school teachers face when guiding the life cycle of white cabbage butterflies and to present appropriate improvement directions based on the needs of the field. Survey results indicated difficulties related to the materials, teachers, students, and the educational system, suggesting the need for expanded opportunities for teachers to observe and explore the life cycle, on-site training, inquiry-based materials, and long-term curriculum integration projects.
