Summary

This study qualitatively explored the psychosocial difficulties experienced by Korean medical staff during the COVID-19 pandemic and their related needs. The results revealed that medical staff experienced difficulties such as work burden, lack of understanding, heavy workload, poor working conditions, and loneliness, and requested improvements in infectious disease response systems, enhanced communication, fair compensation, and psychological support programs.
