Summary

This study conducted a meta-analysis to examine the effect of problem solving based learning on the learning outcomes of special education for pre-service teachers. The results showed that problem solving based learning had a positive impact on improving special education learning outcomes, particularly in problem-focused learning, inclusive education, and small groups (less than 5 members). This suggests the need to activate problem solving based learning to improve the special education learning outcomes of pre-service teachers.
