Summary

This study analyzes how Samsung Electronics became a leader in the electronics industry in the 1980s through its PR strategy and the relationship with Nam June Paik’s video art “Dada Ikseon.” Samsung Electronics formed a strategic partnership with Paik in 1984 and leveraged technical resources for its corporate image during the 1988 Seoul Olympics.
