Summary

This study examined the characteristics of reading fluency and error types in typically developing children and children at risk for reading or language disorders in grades 3-4, analyzing speed, accuracy, and errors in morphosyntactic, semantic, and phonological areas. The results showed that children at risk for reading or language disorders had lower reading fluency rates and accuracy compared to typically developing children, and also differed in error types. Specifically, children at risk for reading disabilities showed more omission errors in syllables and phonemes, while those at risk for language disorders showed more addition errors in morphemes.
