This study examines the terms of service of major metaverse platforms and foreign cases to prepare for the anticipated increase in international disputes related to the metaverse, and analyzes jurisdiction and applicable law issues by applying the revised Korean Private International Law Act of 2022. The research reveals that while some areas, such as consumer contracts, have been revised to consider the online environment, regulations regarding general contracts and the determination of applicable law are insufficient.
