여성 독거노인의 외로움 극복과정에 대한 현상학적 연구: 코로나 상황에서 초기 독거노인을 중심으로
This study analyzed the loneliness experienced by female older adults newly living alone and how they cope with this issue through in-depth interviews during the COVID-19 pandemic. The analysis revealed four categories in the process of overcoming loneliness: “Left alone,” “COVID-19, which broke the participant’s will to meet with other people,” “A journey to be together in the midst of COVID-19,” and “Hand in hand, over the wall of loneliness.” Based on these findings, the study suggests practical and policy implications such as psychological and emotional support, mentoring programs, establishment of management standards for senior citizen community centers, and strengthening social support systems.
