Summary

This study investigated the influence of different learning platforms (traditional and Metaverse) on learners’ English proficiency. While both groups showed significant improvement in English proficiency, no significant differences were found between the traditional and Metaverse groups in terms of speaking ability. The study provides pedagogical implications and insights for future research on Metaverse-based English education.
