Summary

This research analyzed the reading aspects of Thai Korean learners using eye-tracking and retrospective think-aloud methods. The results showed statistically significant differences in task performance time between Thai and non-Thai Korean learners, and Thai learners experienced difficulties understanding the general content and distinguishing between important and unimportant information. This is attributed to linguistic differences between Thai and Korean and the influence of the mother tongue, suggesting the need for strategic training to improve reading efficiency.
