Summary

This study classified middle school students into latent profiles based on their academic achievement and school happiness, and analyzed the characteristics of each profile in terms of individual, family, and school life variables. The latent profile analysis revealed four groups: ‘achievement(high)-happiness(highest)’, ‘achievement(high)-happiness(medium)’, ‘achievement(low)-happiness(low)’, and ‘achievement(low)-happiness(lowest)’, with statistically significant differences among the groups.
