Summary

This study addresses the issue that the current family support system under the Civil Act is no longer aligned with the changing family structures and diversity in modern society. It proposes specific improvement tasks such as restructuring the private support system, clarifying parental support obligations for minors, reducing the scope of support between relatives, and strengthening public support. Ultimately, the goal is to strengthen individuals’ economic foundation and safety net to enable effective private support.
