Summary

This study aimed to explore the direction of Community Care for single-person households with disabilities through both quantitative research (using Korea Welfare Panel data) and qualitative research (interviews with experts in disability welfare). The results suggest the need for increased social care for middle-aged and elderly individuals living alone with disabilities, strengthened mental health services, development of social integrated residence models, and establishment of a basic statistical system.
