Summary

This study developed the DEU GRIT scale to assess college freshmen's level of college life adaptation and identify groups experiencing difficulties. The scale consists of four adaptation areas – academic, social, personal emotional, and career – and finalized 60 questions and sub-factor structures through expert review and preliminary/main surveys. The developed scale will be useful in understanding college students’ college adaptation level.
