Summary

This study analyzed changes in the air passenger transport network of Asian airports following the spread of COVID-19 using Social Network Analysis. The analysis showed a significant decrease in network components and centrality since March 2020, but Incheon, Narita, and Taoyuan airports maintained relative competitiveness. Establishing a Korea-China-Japan cooperation system and developing transit routes are necessary for the recovery of the Korean international air network.
